In the State of Colorado, the only way to get fresh goat milk is from your own goat. Most folks aren’t able to keep a milk producer or two in their backyards. Fortunately, there is a simple solution: Herd Shares. A Herd Share allows you to buy a portion of a goat and receive a portion of the products they produce. In the case of dairy goats this product is milk. We house the goat, feed the goat, milk thte goat and make sure she stays healthy. You pay a weekly fee for these services.
The Noisy Goat Farm has a limited number of herd shares available. A share price is $50 for the initial share, additional shares are $25 each. Weekly boarding costs are $8/week. One share equates to about 1 gallon of milk per week. Production can fluctuation based on weather, health, and stage of lactation. Herd Shares can be sold back to The Noisy Goat Farm at any time for the full purchase price. The Noisy Goat Farm reserves the right to purchase herd shares back at anytime for the full purchase price.
